SAMPLE SET ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the preparation, organisation and coordination of sample sets.
Ensure all samples are correctly labelled, packed and prepared for dispatch.
Coordinate the movement and tracking of samples throughout the sampling process.
Maintain accurate records of sample status, requirements and delivery schedules.
Liaise effectively with Design, Merchandising, Production and other internal departments.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Sample Room as required.
Ensure sample-related documentation is maintained accurately and up to date.
Follow up on outstanding samples and assist in meeting required deadlines.
Assist with the general organisation and smooth running of the sample process.
Utilise relevant apparel systems and software to capture and maintain sample information where required.

REQUIREMENTS
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience within the clothing, apparel or garment manufacturing industry is highly advantageous.
Previous experience in a Sample Room or Sample Set environment will be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience using Sync and Lectra systems is highly advantageous.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong time-management and prioritisation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
A genuine interest in fashion, garments and clothing manufacturing.
